Tourist information

The following website...

...provides a great deal of information about tourism and the Basque Country (called "Euskadi" in the Basque language).

The northern coast of Spain... the Basque Country, Cantabria, Asturias, and Galicia... has a substantially different climate from central and southern Spain, generally milder with much higher humidity and much more rain. Temperatures and weather conditions in July are highly variable, ranging from rain and 18 degrees C, to sunny and 35 degrees C (and humid).

As regards travel in other areas: Spain is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world -expect crowds in July- and there are dozens of fabulous places to visit of all kinds; cultural, wilderness, and recreational. Be aware that central and southern Spain, away from the coast, in the summer months are quite hot (35 - 40+ degrees C) and dry. The Mediterrranean coast, where Barcelona is located, for example, is also quite hot, but more tolerable because of sea breezes.

Any Web browser will find multiple sites for tourism in Spain.
